Adoption Timeline 2012-13

Below is our ongoing timeline for Laura Daniela's adoption. (This is a work in progress.)

2/1/13 - Spanish version of referral received from ICBF (Colombian government).

2/8/13 - Official referral (in English received).
I800 Application sent to USCIS (US Government).

3/1/13 - Verbal notification received that our I800 was approved.

3/8/13 - I800 approval received in the mail.

3/19/13 - Received notice that our Article 5 was issued and we were given a meeting date of April 10th in Colombia.

4/7/13 - Flight from Reno to LAX to Miami. 4/8/13 - Flight from Miami to Bogota. 4/9/13 - Flight from Bogota to Neiva.

4/10/13 - GOTCHA DAY!! - We were able to receive Laura into our family.

4/15/13 - Integration interview - everything approved by ICBF and forwarded to the courts

4/22/13 - Sentencia received - adoption paperwork signed by judge - She's ours!
